Corn and Spring Wheat Conditions Drop, Soybeans Steady

There were no changes in the market for corn gluten products. With time running short, prices for corn gluten feed have yet to be officially agreed upon, though lower rates have been proposed.

CME grain prices experienced a downward trend today, except for wheat. September corn saw a decrease of $0.0275, closing at $4.66/bu, while September soybeans slumped $0.1850 to settle at $13.51/bu. In addition, September soymeal fell by $3.50 to reach $406.30/st, but September wheat rose by $0.0250 to $6.01/bu. Soybean and corn prices fell after a round of technical selling, leading to a double-digit setback in soybean prices. Furthermore, a significant portion of the central U.S. is anticipated to have no measurable rainfall from Wednesday until Saturday.
