Soybean Crush Margins Fall Below Six-Week Average

Trading activity for DDGS was active today, with prices declining in Iowa. It seems that warm weather will continue in the upcoming days, although with lower humidity and slightly cooler temperatures. Market participants also observed a slight decrease in product demand at the end of last week.

CME grain prices were stronger today, except for September wheat, which declined by $0.0525, dropping to $5.88/bu. September corn increased by $0.0775, jumping to $4.78/bu, and September soybeans surged by $0.1425, settling at $13.95/bu. Additionally, September soymeal prices rose by $2.90 to reach $425.70/st. The anticipation of the USDA crop progress report caused corn to experience a surge in value, while soybeans were able to secure double-digit gains due to a round of weather-related technical buying.
