Renewable Diesel Demand for Soybean Oil Rivals Biodiesel in June

Renewable Diesel Demand for Soybean Oil Rivals Biodiesel in June

The Jacobsen is proposing to change the price assessment methodology and pricing for the SME Biodiesel FOB US Gulf, SME Biodiesel FOB New York Harbor and FAME FOB USG and NYH – B100 Flat Price.

Currently the price assessments are assessed without the $1/gal blender’s tax credit included in the price.

Fastmarkets The Jacobsen would therefore propose to include the $1/gal blenders tax credit in the price starting on Sep 23rd, 2023 after a period of consultation with the industry. The inclusion of the blenders tax credit would remain as part of the price assessment, following the legislative inclusion, i.e. the credit value will be reflective of what is legally current.

To comment on this proposal, please email: [email protected] or [email protected] by September 22nd, 2023 indicating “B100 BTC” in the subject line of the email.
