Soybean Meal Stocks Well Above Last Month

Trading activity for DDGS was active today, with ranges expanding in both Michigan and Iowa. Market participants observed that values were mixed by the end of last week with corn and meal futures varied. Sources reported a high of $215 for Iowa, although it is unconfirmed as of press time.

CME grain prices were mixed today, December wheat inclined by $0.0375, increasing to $5.99/bu. December corn increased by $0.0450, jumping to $4.86/bu, and November soybeans dropped by $0.0425, settling at $13.65/bu. Additionally, October soymeal prices decreased by $1.90 to reach $399.30/st. Corn prices gained moderate traction after a round of technical buying today. However, soybean markets are eagerly awaiting the latest USDA crop progress report, which will provide clearer insights into the weekend heat wave.
