U.S. soybean crushing volumes in July totaled 185 million bushels, up 5.7 percent from June and 2.2 percent on the year, the USDA reported on September 1 in its Monthly Fats & Oils report. The July crush rebounded from June, which was the smallest monthly crush level since September 2022. Lower crush volumes are common in the early summer months since plants typically schedule maintenance ahead of the harvest season.
