Organic Soybean Prices Steady

Organic soybean prices have remained steady, buoyed by the uncertainty of critical imports.  Organic soybean demand in the U.S. relies heavily on imports. Between 227K and 342K metric tons (mt) of organic soybeans were imported into the U.S. annually over the previous three years. Current YTD imports of organic soybeans are short of previous year’s at 197k mt, but fourth-quarter shipments have yet to land.  A supply crunch may not be felt until 2024.
