Domestic Soybean Oil Exports Rise Sharply on Week

During the week ending August 31, U.S. soybean oil exports for the 2022/23 marketing year were 2,500 tonnes (MT), up sharply on the week and the four-week average. The USDA’s Weekly Export Report released on Friday showed the largest buyer was Mexico (1,700 MT). Total U.S. net soybean oil sales reductions of 900 MT for 2022/2023 were down noticeably from the previous week and the four-week average. Decreases were for Canada.
