Trading activity for corn gluten products has been consistent. Participants noted various offers for meal, but prices for corn gluten feed and meal continue to align with current ranges. Other sources have also mentioned the potential for an uptick in feed demand in the near term.
CME grain prices experienced a negative trend today except for December wheat which increased $0.0300, closing at $5.87/bu, while November soybeans plunged $0.2250 to settle at $13.46/bu. In addition, October soymeal decreased by $7.60 to reach $398.40/st. and December corn declined by $0.0925 to $4.76/bu. Following the release of the latest WASDE report from the USDA, most grains declined in value. However, wheat prices had hit multiyear lows before the release of the report but managed to rebound at closing.
