BFT Prices Trade Higher, DCO Production Rebounding

Four cars of packer BFT traded up to 69.5 cts/lb Chicago today and Gulf trading was indicated higher as well, 70 cts/lb delivered. Choice white grease traded higher, topping out at 67.5 FOB Mo. River. The majority of volume was done at 66 FOB River yesterday and again today. Yellow grease prices were firm to higher as well.
Distiller’s corn oil (DCO) prices were higher into Manly, IA and on an FOB basis. Delivered Gulf values were indicated in a range of 72.5 – 74 with some sellers asking as high as 75 delivered.
