Prices Steady on Unclear Supply

Prices Steady on Unclear Supply

Organic feed wheat prices remain steady.  There is no clear indication on supply, which is preventing any dramatic price movement in organic feed markets.  Conventional wheat markets suffer from the same uncertainty, but alleged scarcity on the horizon has not buoyed prices.

Wheat futures markets have been unmoved by recurrent news of supply issues. Similar forecasts a year ago – as well as in 2022 – warned of historically low supply that did not materialize, causing fatigue in traders over the issue. Russian and Ukrainian exports continue to grow and the novel circumstances affecting both production and shipping there make predictions difficult.
