Nearby cash bids and offers on crude-degummed (CD) and refined, bleached, and deoderized (RBD) soybean oil in central Illinois were lower. Indications on RBD soybean oil in the region were reported most recently at 13 cents to 13.50 cents, down from 13 cents to 14 cents last week. CD soybean oil in the region was pegged between 4 cents and 4.50 cents, down 50 basis points from early last week. Demand for soybean oil has been on the lighter side, with sources suggesting that many of the large U.S. renewable diesel (RD) producers remain very well covered through at least the end of the fourth quarter of this year.
