Bloodmeal Prices Continue to Tumble

Trading was very quiet to close out the week. MBM was indicated as steady with no changes reported.

For the week, ruminant MBM was down 0.7 percent from the prior week’s average. Porcine MBM and feathermeal prices were sideways. Bloodmeal prices continued to slide with ruminant down 4.8 percent out of the Mo. River market and porcine down 2.5 percent. Nearby soybean meal was down 1.8 percent from last week’s average.
