Fat Prices Slide on Lower RINS and Evaporating Renewable Margins

The market was active today at lower prices following the big drop in RIN values yesterday. Weakness has been building in the market for a few days on lower soybean oil prices, seasonal demand patterns which include less usage of animal fats, well covered October positions, wide spreads between RIN-eligible and non-RIN eligible lipids and lower RIN prices.
