Animal Proteins Prices Mixed, Soybean Meal Rebounds Post WASDE

Trading was mostly quiet today, but there was trading done for feathermeal out of the Minnesota market at lower levels.
Animal proteins were mixed for the week. Porcine and ruminant bloodmeal were the only items to have strong support for the week with a 5.2 and 1.7 percent increase, respectively. The rise in price was attributed to heightened interest and increased inclusions in the dairy sector with higher prices.
Ruminant and porcine meat and bonemeal (MBM) were less than a percent lower from the weekly average last week. Participants stated heightened unease and wider ranges were widespread on the ebb and flow of soybean meal through the week and lower values expected out front.
