23’/24′ GCAU’s Move Up MoM but Remain Under 22’/23′ Season

Trading was overall quiet for Tuesday with several participants attending the 2023 American Fats and Oils Association conference in Nashville. Porcine bloodmeal, Mid-Atlantic was moved higher on thinner offerings and increased demand. Porcine meat and bonemeal was mixed with the Carolinas higher on tight inventory levels, while Mo. River and Eastern IA/ILL showed a slight dip at the top. Trades as high as $450/st were reported on the Mo. River ruminant meat and bonemeal; however, values above the current range could not be confirmed at press time. Poultry by-product feed grade was reported lower on decreased exports with global Avian Influenza concerns.
