AFOA Conference Limits Market Trading

Trading was quiet for Tuesday with most attending the 2023 American Fats and Oils Association conference in Nashville. Ten cars of distiller’s corn oil (DCO) traded at 60 cts/lb FOB Ilinois/Wisconsin for November.

Ongoing soybean harvest progress also pressured the soybean markets. The benchmark soybean oil futures contract for December ended at 5.35 cents per pound, down 55 basis points per pound, or almost one percent.
