Weekly Soybean Crush Margins Jump 13 Percent W-O-W

There were a few trades reported on DDGS today. Market participants highlighted that despite an increase in production, lower corn futures and decreasing soybean meal prices, the DDGS seem to be holding steady, apart from trades in Minnesota/Dakotas pushing prices slightly higher and the Illinois market having a slight decrease in price ranges.

CME grain pricing showed a negative trend today. December corn decreased by $0.025, falling to $4.78/bu. December wheat fell by $0.095, dropping to $5.66/bu. November soybeans shifted down, with a decrease of $0.145 and settling at $12.82/bu. Additionally, December soymeal prices lowered by $15.90, reaching $426.50/st. Reports of much-needed precipitation in South America are among the latest updates in the weather forecast. Additionally, the current progress of the seasonal harvest is putting pressure on corn and soybean prices.
