Organic Soybean Meal Imports Increase in October

Organic soybean meal imports increased in October month over month but were lower year over year.  According to third-party data viewed by Fastmarkets, organic soybean meal imports rose to 11.3K metric tons in October, up from an unofficial 6.8K metric tons in October. While there is no official data for October 2022, Fastmarkets estimates that organic soybean meal imports were 33.9K metric tons.

Most of the organic soybean meal arrived in containers. There was one bulk shipment of organic soybean meal that came from Giresun, Turkey.  Approximately 4.5K metric tons of organic soybean meal was delivered to the port of Stockton in California. The shipment arrived on the Blue Cecil.
