Quiet Tone for Friday Leaves Values Flat

Participants called the market quiet today, closing out the Friday before Thanksgiving week with steady values.

(BFT) Chicago was down 3.9 percent from the prior week’s average at 50 cts/lb. The average was down from trading done last Friday, while the market this week was quiet. Choice white grade traded lower out of the Mo. River market, down 2.7 percent after a big drop in the market on Thursday. Yellow grease was lower as well on lower trading done on Thursday. The rest of the fats, UCO and DCO markets were completely sideways.
