CME grain prices were mixed on Tuesday. December wheat saw an increase of $0.115, closing at $5.55/bu, and January soybeans recorded a rise of $0.1, settling at $13.77/bu. In addition, December soymeal dropped by $1.00 to $459.20/st. and December corn witnessed a minor increase of $0.005 to $4.70/bu. Soybeans have once again experienced double-digit gains due to the current weather patterns in Brazil, with the south being wet and the north remaining dry. Brazilian farmers are eagerly awaiting more rain this week to proceed with planting their 23/24 soybean crop. Wheat futures have also jumped by double-digits following yesterday’s crop progress report, which revealed a one-point improvement in winter wheat ratings.
