Avian Flu Head Count Moves Higher in November

Adjustments on the animal proteins pricing for Wednesday were mixed with wide ranges lingering in the market. 

The spread of Avian influenza in the U.S. for October and November has been an increasingly important topic of conversation for animal proteins. Diminished export trade, lower consumer demand, as well as lower hatchery output have played a part in broiler slaughter for the near term and is expected to affect levels into 2024.
