Most CME grain prices had an upward trend on Tuesday. The only grain with a decrease was January soybeans, which dropped $0.0075 and closed at $13.05/bu. March wheat increased $0.1075 and settled at $6.31/bu. Additionally, January soybean meal jumped $9.50 and closed at $417.80/st. and March corn rose $0.05 to $4.90/bu. The market was driven by optimistic demand and expectations for the upcoming World Agricultural Supply and Demand Estimates (WASDE) report from the USDA. Other grains provided support to corn, resulting in moderate gains for the day, while Jan soybean futures decreased again following a one-month low, yesterday. Meanwhile, wheat achieved double-digit gains once again today.
