US Fat Exports Continue to Lag 2022 Levels

Trading was mostly quiet today but the reports that did come through were mostly at steady prices. The exception was technical tallow, which is in a wide range today at 49 – 54.5 cts/lb Chicago. Backups from the Western market continue to keep pressure on the nearby market, but there was some trading done at a higher price today. Three cars of renderer BFT did trade late yesterday at 48 cts/lb Chicago.
