Wheat Export Inspections Drop as Corn and Soybean Surge

Most CME grain prices were on a downward trend on Tuesday. The only grain that increased was March wheat, which jumped $0.0575 and closed at $6.22/bu. January soybeans decreased $0.145 and settled at $13.12/bu. Additionally, January soymeal dropped $9.60 and closed at $403.20/st, and March corn fell by $0.0425 to $4.72/bu. Improved weather forecasts in South America led to a decline in soybean prices, prompting technical selling. However, wheat prices increased as a result of beneficial rains in the U.S. Plains, while corn prices dropped due to rainy forecasts in Brazil and Argentina.
