UCO Trades Higher into EU Market, Negative Pressure Persists in US and ANZ

The beginning of 2024 has been somewhat quiet with not a lot of activity reported to start the new year. Some of the higher acid fats were reported lower out of the Australian market, and tallow indications were lower out of New Zealand this week. Most sources indicted strong demand for the first and second quarters from the renewable sector, but limited trading over the last couple of weeks due to downtime at meat processors in both Australia and New Zealand.
