Corn, Soybean, and Wheat Export Sales Fall Below Expectations

Most CME grain prices had a downward trend on Friday. The only grain price that increased was March wheat, which jumped $0.025 and closed at $6.16/bu. March soybeans decreased $0.1125 and settled at $12.56/bu. Additionally, March soymeal dropped $6.80 and closed at $369.40/st, and March corn fell by $0.0575 to $4.60/bu. Soybean prices have dropped by double-digits as beneficial rains and moderate temperatures continue to cover key soybean-producing regions in Brazil. Fluctuations in the dollar have influenced wheat prices throughout the week, resulting in minor gains at the end of today’s session. Corn prices decreased due to a sharp decline in the latest round of export sales data from the USDA.
