US Fat Exports Trail October and Prior-Year Levels

US Fat Exports Trail October and Prior-Year Levels

Used cooking oil (UCO) traded at a steady price into the Gulf today at 38 cts/lb and trading was done lower into the Southeast market, 39.5 cts/lb. A similar range was broadly indicated across much of the country, 38 – 40 cts/lb delivered, although there are pockets of lower prices when netting back to an FOB value.
Choice white grease trading was mostly steady today although reported volume was light. There was a major winter storm impacting a wide swath of the Midwest on Tuesday which is forcing buyers, sellers and traders out of trading mode and into logistics management.
Tallow did trade down a penny late Monday into the Gulf market, 40.5 cts/lb delivered.
