Organic Soybean Import Data a Moving Target

Organic soybean imports were up 11 percent year over year for November.  Prices for organic soybeans declined over the course of 2023 but have maintained a floor around the $20 mark, according to The Jacobsen’s Organic Soybeans Midwest pricing. 

Current figures represent an 18.5 percent decline in organic soybean imports for 2023, though data is not complete for the year.  When adjusted for historical December imports of organic soybeans, the decline is 10 percent.
