The market was mostly quiet today with steady trading reported on choice white grease FOB Mo. River and mostly steady for distiller’s corn oil (DCO) on an FOB basis. 
Sources indicated offers as high as 47 cts/lb FOB for February DCO shipments with bids and some trading done around the 45 cts/lb mark.
There were reports of higher bids for used cooking oil (UCO) into the US Gulf market today, up to 40 cts/lb delivered, but bid volume could not be confirmed as of press time.  
Source have been prognosticating higher nearby prices and based on tighter supply, logistical issues, firmer demand and global price increases. 
The extreme winter weather seen much of last week and early this week across big swaths of the US interior has wreaked havoc on logistics and collection route, with sub-zero temps and snow limiting access to collection tanks for restaurants without internal UCO storage.
