Representative Chellie Pingree (D-ME), a member of the House Agricultural Committee and organic farmer, introduced bipartisan legislation last week meant to improve organic dairy data collection.  Pingree collaborated with Marc Molinaro (R-NY) to introduce the Organic Dairy Data Collection Act, targeting enhanced data collection by the USDA to gain a better understanding of the costs associated with producing organic milk.
