International Animal Fats and Oils 01.02.24

UCO was reported traded at $920/mt CIF Amsterdam, Rotterdam, Antwerp (ARA) for delivery in ISO tanks, while flexi-tank deliveries were indicated in the price range of $880-900/mt CIF.

Spot indications for European UCO softened to €920-960/mt DDP North-Western Europe, with the best offer heard at around €940/mt but no firm buying interest quoted against it. Prices for March-April remained firm at around €1,000-1,050/mt DDP.

Rapeseed oil (RSO) selling indications for nearby loading in February-March were unchanged at €855-860/mt FOB Dutch Mill, while buying interest softened to €815-825/mt. Ideas for April were seen a touch higher at €865/mt versus €835/mt FOB.

Animal fats prices were also stable, with category 3 15% free fatty acids (FFA) tallow unchanged at €770-800/mt EXW North-West Europe, while 5% FFA tallow was quoted in a wide range of €890-945/mt EXW depending on quality.
