Pressure Develops in Bloodmeal While Poultry By-Products Supported

Most items in the animal proteins market were highly unsettled for Tuesday. A have-have-not tone was indicated on bloodmeal, meat and bonemeal, and poultry by-product items. Abundant offering levels were reported at several locations, especially on ruminant meat and bonemeal, even with some indicating active export and increased pet food interest. However, some called the export market flat, keeping the domestic inventories heavy. Most values were reported in range on both porcine and ruminant meat and bonemeal. However, buyer pushback led to lower values in Texas on ruminant.
