Strong Economic Data Fuels Organic Consumption

Planting dates for early crops are swiftly approaching, and planning for these crops is nearly past due. Buyers continue to maintain thin inventories, even as prices decline to levels far below the ones that persisted during the post-pandemic organic feed boom. Interest rates are partly responsible for this buyer behavior, and even small downward adjustments in key interest rates could move the needle in terms of end user buying behavior.
