Concluding what was an otherwise very quiet week, five railcars of packer grade bleachable fancy tallow (BFT) traded up to 40.50 cts/lb Chicago. Renderer grade BFT also traded higher on Friday, with three railcars reported at 41.50 cts/lb Chicago. Still, for the weekly period, the average BFT price was little changed.

Choice white grease on an FOB Mo. River basis increased more than 1.25 percent on the week. Very light trading was reported as high 35 cts/lb FOB, but the bulk of activity was reported between 33-34 cts/lb FOB this week.
