Tech Tallow, Lard Prices Fall to Start Trading Week

Technical tallow traded down to 50.5 Chicago today on a ten car trade and a car of lard was done lower at 44 cts/lb Chicago.
Outside of the Chicago market, trading was mostly quiet with the exception coming from the CWG market. Trading was done higher on an FOB Mo. River basis, topping out at 35 cts/lb FOB this week.
Slower hog slaughter has contributed strength to the choice white grease market as well burgeoning feed demand.
