SOE Presents Opportunity for Some

The Strengthening Organic Enforcement Act (SOE) is set for implementation in a little less than month.  The new regulations have the potential to disrupt some trade flows, but organic feed grains do not appear to be vulnerable to any meaningful supply disruption from SOE. 

Other markets, like organic pea protein, for instance, may be another story.  That supply chain is heavily reliant on Chinese imports, and critics say that the Chinese organic pea protein supply chain is susceptible to fraud and lacks transparency.  Buyers have been advised to seek domestic supplies to mitigate risk.
