CVR Looks to Expand RD Production, Add SAF

CVR plans to continue to evaluate opportunities for renewables expansions, particularly into SAF production, at both Wynnewood and Coffeyville. President and CEO David Lamp noted, “on the potential Wynnewood project, we plan to begin soliciting bids over the next few months for off-take agreements that would support the potential conversion of the existing RDU (renewable diesel unit) to 100 percent SAF. On a potential larger project, we are evaluating at Coffeyville, we currently expect to have preliminary engineering and cost estimating work complete by the end of the first quarter.
