China and Indonesian meat and bonemeal were both lower on accounts of diminished interest. China pushed lower to a new range of $535-535/mt, while Indonesia was in a range of $530-540/mt.

The MLA reported cattle slaughter at 125,184 for last week, up from the week prior by 2.1 percent and 17.0 percent higher than 2023 levels. Year-to-date slaughter for Australia is at 715,484 head, 11.8 percent, or 75,480 head, higher than 2023 levels for the respective time.
