Corn and Wheat Export Inspections Increase, Soybeans Drop

DDGS prices have dropped in the Minnesota/Dakotas, Channahon, IL, Illinois, and Iowa markets on Monday. Market participants mentioned that prices are under downward pressure due to the falling corn market, leading to decreases in spot offers and bids.

CME grain prices shifted higher across the board on Monday. March soymeal increased by $2.90/st and closed at $334.40/st. March soybeans increased by $0.03 and settled at $11.36/bu. Furthermore, March corn futures rose $0.0725 to $4.07/bu, and March wheat increased by $0.0375 to $5.77/bu. Following a better-than-expected set of grain inspection data, corn prices rallied back from multiyear lows on Monday. This prompted a round of technical buying, with soybean and wheat prices also showing notable gains by the close.
