Gulf DCO and UCO Markets Trade Lower

Used cooking oil (UCO) traded lower into the Gulf market today, down to a flat 39.5 cts/lb delivered. Offers were heard in a range of 41 – 42 cts/lb and some sources reported that most rail sellers were at, or above 40.5 cts/lb, but there was no confirmed trading as of press time at the higher prices.
UCO was lower in the interior market as well, down to 38 cts/lb delivered Southeast. Midwestern markets were flat and demand from the biodiesel sector has been lackluster due to tight margins.
Distiller’s corn oil traded in a range of 46 – 46.5 cts/lb del US Gulf today. FOB trading was mostly steady today.
