Organic soybean meal prices have settled into a tight range as trading activity remains light. The relative value of organic soybean meal prices (The Jacobsen-Fastmarkets Midwest) has corrected to a slightly above-average spread relative to the CME soybean meal value.

It’s clear from the historical graph of organic soybean meal over CME that as the duty against India became a reality, prices surged but eventually declined as demand dipped, and African-sourced organic soybean meal replaced Indian organic soybean meal.
