Soybean Crush Reaches Record High for February, Oil Stocks Climb

The National Oilseed Processors Association (NOPA) reported the February soybean crush at 186.194 million bushels. It was the largest February crush on record, outpacing the previous high of 166.288 reached in 2020 by 12%.

The February crush topped the average trade assessment of 178.06 million bushels as well as the high end of the estimate range. Estimates for the crush ranged from 170.2-185.5 million bushels.

The February crush was 0.22% below the January crush of 185.78 million bushels and 12.6% above the 165.057 million bushels crushed during February 2023.
