US Hog Slaughter Forecast

Hog slaughter finished last week at an estimated 2.342 million head last week, down 2.27 percent from the same week last year but up 0.34 percent from the week prior. The Jacobsen is forecasting hog slaughter at 2.475 million head this week and at an average of 2.450 million head over the next six weeks.
