Global feedstocks prices were higher again this week, with used cooking oil (UCO) having the biggest increase as Chinese origin cargoes had a $90 per tonne month on month increase, Fastmarkets data showed.

UCO offers reached $905-910 per tonne on the FOB China basis, while FOB Malaysia volumes were reported offered at $930-950 per tonne, driven by firm vegetable oils prices and consistent demand. High freight rates kept Chinese UCO uncompetitive into Europe, with buyers mostly securing volumes from South America, Middle East and Africa.

Sources reported trades for UCO at â‚¬1,030 per tonne on the FOB Amsterdam, Rotterdam, Antwerp, Ghent (ARAG) basis and at $1,025 per tonne CIF ARAG, while EXW North-West Europe market was also trading at above â‚¬1,100 per tonne.
