International animal protein prices unchanged

Prices in the international animal protein market were unchanged week on week on Thursday April 25.

One market source, however, said, “increased meat production and lower export demand is placing pressure on meat and bonemeal prices moving forward.”

The Meat and Livestock Australia (MLA) reported cattle slaughter at 1349,475 last week, up by 2.6% from the week before and up by 17.1% from the year before.
