For the week to Friday, prices were broadly lower compared with the prior week’s average. Packer bleachable fancy tallow was down by 2.2% from the prior week’s average on trading done late last week.

Reported volumes were thin in the distillers’ corn oil market this week, but trading that was done was transacted lower on an FOB basis. The FOB Missouri River market was down by 0.1% from the prior week’s average.

The nearby CME soybean oil market tumbled to an average of 43.12 cents per lb this week, down by 4.1% from last week and the nearby heating oil market was down by 3.2%.
