US winter wheat heading reaches 77%; Oklahoma, Texas complete

Chicago Mercantile Exchange grain prices fell on Wednesday May 29. The July CME soybean futures contract decreased by 15.50 cents per bushel to settle at $12.14 per bu, and July soymeal dropped by $7.50 per short ton to $369.10 per ton.

Meanwhile, the July CME corn futures contract declined by 7.25 cents per bu to $4.55 per bu, and July wheat fell by 7.50 cents per bu to close at $6.92 per bu.

Wheat prices faced moderate losses due to a round of technical selling.

Meanwhile, soybean and corn prices shifted lower following a round of technical selling that was triggered by ongoing US planting progress and replenished global stocks after another massive Brazilian harvest.
