European feedstock prices continued their uptrend in the week to Thursday May 30, with strong demand pushing prices up €15-30 ($16-32) per tonne compared with levels recorded in the previous week.

Category 3 animal fats with maximum 5% free fatty acids (FFA) traded at €960-970 per tonne DDP North-West Europe, marking an increase of €35 per tonne week on week.

Further trades were reported at €910 per tonne DDP North-West Europe for mixed fats with maximum 15% FFA.

European used cooking oil (UCO) users continued to source cargoes from Middle East, with trading reported at $1,015-1,020 per tonne CIF Amsterdam-Rotterdam-Antwerp (ARA) and at $1,025 per tonne CIF Spain, while Chinese UCO traded into Malaysia at $890 per tonne CIF.

European UCO did not show much change in price, with levels reported in the range of €1,050-1,070 per tonne DDP North-West Europe.
