Interregional biodiesel RD rail/barge shipments to West Coast climb in March

The US Energy Information Administration’s (EIA) Petroleum Supply Monthly report for March, released on Friday May 31, showed that rail and barge shipments of renewable diesel (RD) and biodiesel were up by 2% from February. There were 2.9 million barrels of RD and 250,000 barrels of biodiesel shipped to the West Coast in March. Biodiesel shipments were down 37% from February, while RD shipments climbed by 8%.
