US BFT renderer, CWG prices increase further on strong demand

The US animal fats market opened the week with a handful of trades at higher prices on Monday June 10. Animal fat and grease prices remained supported by tight supplies and strong multi-sector demand.

Eight railcars of technical tallow traded higher on Monday at 50.5 cents per lb Chicago basis. Three railcars of renderer bleachable fancy tallow (BFT) traded up as well to 47 cents per lb Chicago basis.

Late on Friday June 7, five railcars of choice white grease (CWG) traded higher at 43.5 cents per lb Chicago basis.
